FAQ's

Absolutely. While our primary goal is to ensure your council is meeting its obligations, a key function is to ensure you have the frameworks to evaluate your suppliers and vendors.

Queensland councils are audited annually for finances and adherence to government practices by the Queensland Audit Office (QAO). Underpinning this, local government procurement departments are also required to have an internal audit function in place, as outlined in the Local Government Act 2009.

A minimum requirement is for procurement policies to be reviewed at least every three years. However, if there have been significant changes within your council, you will also be required to review policies.
